Simone Millman's paintings are strongly influenced by her travels. Inspiration for her images of symbols, iconic representations and colour are built up from her travel diaries and sketches.

Painting and travelling are synonymous in revealing these stories through abstract images and their relationships to metaphors. These elements in her paintings become recognisable and reveal a sense of playfulness.
Simone currently has work at The Kwai Funghin Gallery in Hong Kong, Salt Contemporary Art in Queenscliife, Vic and at Little Malop Gallery in Geelong, Vic.
Her work was recently sold at the Postcard Show at Linden Gallery, St.Kilda and is auctioned annually in the Artist For Kids Culture Trust Exhibition in Melbourne in September.
Her works have been exhibited at Bright Gallery in 2005 and had a sellout
show in 2003.
